ABOUT ME
I am a dynamic French mother living in Cranbury, New Jersey. I was born in Paris and lived there until 2010 when I moved to the US with my family.
I started out as a teacher in France and then worked for a few French and American companies (Chemistry & packaging industry, manufacturing, IT business and High-end retail), such as Fournier Laboratories, Packard Bell, Crown Cork & Seal, and the famous luxury department store in Paris, Le Printemps, the place for Fashion, Luxury and Beauty in the center of Paris Department Store Printemps Paris.
Teaching was my first vocation and moving to the US allowed me to teach again:
- I am a French teacher for the Alliance Française where I teach French to kids and adults.
- I teach at the Cranbury School as a volunteer, helping the French teacher twice a week.
- I also run a French afterschool program at the Cranbury School. I organize workshops where we do crafts, painting, cooking, games and songs learning about French culture.
- I give individual lessons to adults and children.
- I organize conversation workshops for adults
- I tutor children of the local French community to help them keep their French grammar and spelling!
- I help American families to prepare their trip or even their relocation to France.
- I organize workshops for toddlers and preschoolers with stories and songs in French.
- I can customize your lesson according to your area of interest, business, travelling, arts, literacy, cooking…
I have 3 sons, 3, 6 and 13 years old who speak French and English and who would love to play with new friends, in French of Course!
If you come to my house for lessons you will have a French coffee or tea and the kids will have a French “chocolat chaud” with cookies. “Ça fait partie du lot” (that comes with it!) as one of my students likes to say!
My schedule is very flexible so do not worry if you miss one lesson, we will always find a way to catch up the same week or to do it on Skype!
I look forward to transferring my knowledge and skills, and I really enjoy when I can see that the student GETS IT!
I can’t wait to meet you!
